lyrics
It was fun gambling with demons through the night
But now it´s time to go
We must seek the hills we forgot
A time when all was pure and also gold
Lost for many years in the haze of a dream
Now we feel so old
We are leaving today
We are proud in the storm
Faces we lost after we go
After we fall
Crawl into the aftermath with me
You know it´s gonna hurt
Crawl into the aftermath with me
You know we´re gonna bleed
Come into the aftermath and live
Burn into the aftermath with me
Crawl into the aftermath with me
We summoned the dead when we casted our spells
Wasting some magic on the way
We turned pain into joy
And we redeemed our souls
We lift our spirits from these vaults
Did we speak the truth?
Or did we tell some lies?
We´re five burning witches on the pole
A new day has come
We stare at it from the edge of dawn
Our time has come for us to move forward
And reach the stars
Crawl into the aftermath with me
You know it´s gonna hurt
Crawl into the aftermath with me
You know we´re gonna bleed
Come into the aftermath and live
Burn!
Crawl!

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
Italian stoner powerhouse Tenebra has the heft of Sabbath and the hooks of Saint Vitus in their powerfully imposing tunes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2022
